ABILITY-BASED PERMISSIONS

As a spirit of compassion, Cole has the ability to "see/hear" other peoples' pain. This can range across anything from hurtful or bittersweet memories, to current fears or anxieties, to knowing what a person needs to make them feel better. In canon, he often comments on the things he sees in peoples' heads. It usually comes from a place of curiosity or wanting to help.

Some characters may be more difficult to read due to mental abilities of their own, and if there are any specific memories players would rather not be poked at, I can find a way to play around them. I do want to make sure I'm not stepping on anyone's toes OOC. Please c/p from the text box and comment!

Cole also has abilities that allow him to be invisible and affect people's memories, but since Shardbearers have an easier time seeing and remembering him, this will be handled on a case-by-case basis. More details about Cole's powers in general can be found over here.

Okay HERE IS THE DEAL WITH VANESSA (if you are canon blind). I am waaaay open to him knowing her feelings etc. She tends to keep a mask up, and not let people know what she truly feels.

Memories, I have no issue, but as she tends to have some of the capabilities of her own, she can't really *block* him, but she will most likely know he's rooting around. I'm fine with that--but definitely a more case by case basis.

She will also most likely be able to feel that he is not human--not what he is, exactly, but she'll know that he's otherworldly.

Vanessa also is possessed. She is the reincarnation of the Egyptian Goddess Amunet, who sometimes takes control of her, and is a giant dickbag. Mainly because the creature within her and the Devil really want her to basically become the bride of Satan and be the mother of all evil. You know. The good stuff.

And she *really* needs some help getting the Amunet stuff under control (very soon in the future--so potential cr there?)

She is theoretically made from samples of the memories of another person, however she has no access to them, and her ability to absorb memories in general has been nerfed. I'm not sure if he'd have any access to that at all - canon isn't very clear on which memories she is made of, though there are possibly some things he might pick up on if you think he'd have access to them. Overall, I imagine this'd be more important if she were canon updated and did start absorbing and gaining conscious access to the memories she canonically absorbs from her castmates. I'll let you know if/when this happens

AC canon is odd, because in order for Arno to have Eagle Vision it means he's a descendant of Those Who Came Before, a superior race that had six senses instead of five. I don't think Arno could do anything, he'd just be something different for Cole to encounter, maybe a little difficult.

More recent events he remembers fine, though.

However! The ka'kari (The thing that talks like "~blah blah~") is kind of a whole 'nother category. It's a sentient being made up of ancient magical properties and "personality" that's bonded to Kylar and often takes the form of a black obsidian-like metal. It lends Kylar powers like judging the soul of others, invisibility, immortality (canonically only), weapons, armor, and it also communicates with him in his mind. It has its own feelings and memories that extend way beyond Kylar's (it was already called ancient 700+ years ago). Typically, the ka'kari is known for it's ability to hide, but I'm gonna go ahead and say Cole is more than welcome to pick up on its existence and interpret it as whatever you'd like. Any conversation or comments with it will be one-sided, however, since it can only speak with Kylar, but that's the biggest downside I can think of. Otherwise, have at it o7
