Their hair is considered a luxury good (akin to ivory) and they are, essentially, a dying race. Ariadne has spent pretty much her entire life hiding what she is. To the point where she even cut off her own wings and sacrificed her ability to fly so that she could pass for Human. So, I guess her self-loathing is the particular pain and being held down while her wings were cut off would be the particular memory. Is there anything else that can be found in their app or wiki pages that should remain off-limits? Nope.
